CREYCENT also known as Abraham Hangandu, is a Zambian rapper, singer-songwriter, music executive and Promoter based in Lusaka, Zambia. He is often cited as one of most influential rappers of his generation and critically acclaimed as one of the greatest rappers of all time.
CREYCENT is also a Youth Advocate & pioneer in the entertainment industry, CREYCENT was born in 2002 on the 7th September, he attended his elementary school & kindergarten at Emmanuel Community School in new kanyama site n service and he later attended his middle school at Man Gerald Secondary School in Makeni Villa from grade 8 to 9.
CREYCENT attended highschool at The Kamwala Secondary School in grade 10 and he then later transferred to Mumbwa Boarding Secondary School after losing his second elder brother (Alex Hangandu) in 2020.
CREYCENT grew up listening to Hiphop music from the likes of 50 Cent, Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas, LL Cool Jay, Tech N9ne and Busta Rhymes and he was later inspired to write his own music lyrics at the age of 12 and in 2017 he stepped inside the studio for the first time and recorded a bunch of mixtapes and unreleased songs from a local hood producer named DJ Sparks who later passed away in early 2020, DJ Sparks coached and mentored CREYCENT how to write and record professional songs from his low budget home studio.
CREYCENT was raised by a single parent mother (Mrs Thandiwe Hangandu Lungu) he grew up in shanty suburban poverty looted community of Kanyama compound in Lusaka.
